In addition to the Departments of Elderly Services, the Offices of Homelessness Services, and Food Systems and Policy. The CSA leads a number of the Mayor's initiatives to improve quality of life for New Haven residents.

These include ‘Second Chance’ initiatives for formerly incarcerated residents, and special projects, that engage our diverse community and other City agencies around innovative strategies to strengthen neighborhoods and transform peoples’ lives.
