The Office of the Corporation Counsel serves as the chief legal advisor and attorney for the City, its City officers, departments, boards, and commissioners in matters relating to their official duties.

We have a dedicated attorney staffed in every department in the City. We provide legal advice, and are responsible for handling any litigation and/or contract matters that relate to the assigned departments.
