The City has partnered with a new Health Savings Account (HSA) vendor, Wealth Saver, to bring our employees and retirees enhanced benefits and a more seamless experience. Wealth Saver is Anthem’s affiliated partner for Health Savings Accounts.

Here are the key benefits of this new partnership:

• Automatic Enrollment: There's no need for you to enroll manually. HSA cards will automatically be mailed to you, making the transition smooth and hassle-free.
• Integrated Access: You can now view your HSA funds directly through the Anthem Sydney app, ensuring a seamless experience with your High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
• Online Account Management: Managing your HSA account is now easier than ever with Anthem’s user-friendly online platform.
• Investment Opportunities: Take advantage of the opportunity to invest your HSA dollars for potential growth, helping you maximize your health savings.

Using your Anthem plan’s health savings account is a smart way to make your healthcare dollars work even harder.

Anthem HSA Investment

You now have access to a fully integrated and modern investment solution, WealthCare Saver investments. This solution makes it easier for you to manage all aspects of your health savings account (HSA), including your investments, from the same website and mobile app. This FAQ explains more about the change.

 Transfer of Assets

Use this form to transfer eligible funds to your WealthCare Saver HSA.

Starting July 1, 2024, both the employee and employer contributions will be made with the new HSA vendor, Wealth Saver. Employees have the option to use their previous Health Savings Accounts with Connex and utilize those funds until they're exhausted. Alternatively, you may request to transfer the funds from Connex to Wealth Saver to consolidate your HSA savings. If would like to transfer the funds from your Connex account to the Wealth Saver account, please use the attached request form. It’s important to note that Connex charges a $25 administrative fee at the close of an account but there are no monthly maintenance fees should you decide to keep your old account until exhausted.

Action Required: Verify Your Address

We recommend that employees who currently have HSAs to log into their Anthem accounts and verify that their home address is correct. Additionally, please ensure that your home address in MUNIS Employee Self Service (ESS) is up to date. This will help ensure that your new HSA card and any important information are sent to the correct address.

We believe this new partnership with Wealth Saver will provide you with superior service and more robust tools to manage your healthcare expenses effectively.
