I Heart My Home’s energy coaches work one-on-one with New Haven homeowners, renters, and landlords to access financial resources and complete home energy and electrification improvements at as a low a cost as possible.

I Heart My Home will guide you through local, state, and federal programs to lower the cost of energy efficiency and electrification improvements for residents of any income level.

How does I Heart My Home work?

You’ll get paired with an expert energy counselor who will connect you to the best programs that you are eligible for. Together, you’ll be able to improve the efficiency, health, and comfort of your home. Whether you’re seeking to insulate and weatherize, install new windows, go solar, install a new heating and air conditioning system, or fully electrify your home, your counselor will help you make an actionable plan and access the financial resources needed to achieve your goals. Your counselor will work with you to identify trusted contractors and evaluate quotes to get home energy improvements done. Every step is completely up to you: while you’ll receive cost-free advice every step of the way, you’ll decide who to work with and what projects to work on.
