Buckeye owns and operates one of the nation’s largest independent petroleum products common carrier pipeline networks with roughly 6,000 miles of pipeline and over 120 liquid petroleum product terminals. This line provides refiners, wholesalers, marketers, airlines, railroads and other commercial end-users with dependable, all-weather transportation of refined petroleum products. The partnership with the ports in our terminal transports refined products by pipeline to Bradley International Airport and the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
G&W is a regional freight railroad that acquired the Providence and Worcester Railroad which has, and continues, to serve the port of New Haven. G&W operates throughout the country including Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Vermont. This rail line transports a wide variety of commodities for its customers, including automobiles, construction aggregate, iron, and steel products, lumber, coal, ethanol, chemicals, scrap metals, plastic resins, cement, processed foods and edible food stuffs, such as frozen foods and corn syrup.
