The Application Process for Positions within the City of New Haven
Please note that employment with the City of New Haven is contingent upon the successful completion of the following:
- a pre-employment background check,
- a pre-employment physical examination, including drug screening,
- a probationary period, the length of which is determined by the corresponding bargaining unit contract
